Moms Too
In 1996, the "Moms Too" program was established for young single mothers experiencing hardships. The mothers and children in this home are often victims of abandonment and abuse due to backgrounds of alcoholism, drug addiction, divorce and poverty.
Under the guidance of two dedicated mentoring moms, the mothers are provided a safe environment, counseling, budgeting skills, education and career goal-setting, positive parenting skills, family management training and Christian discipleship. Their children are provided a safe environment, schooling, counseling and nurture.
For confidentiality, the names of our moms and their children are not released.
Your monthly gift of $25 provides financial support for an entire family. Sponsors are sent a picture and biographical information regarding the family and are encouraged to build a relationship through cards and letters.
A picture and biographical information of the houseparent family along with your monthly receipt letter contains updates on family activities so that you will be better able to pray for their needs. Please feel free to correspond with the housemother for more information, because the children placed here are from Navajo Social Services names cannot be released.
