Onsite School
In cooperation with the Farmington Municipal School District, we are able to provide an Onsite School for children in grades kindergarten through sixth.
When children arrive at Navajo Ministries, they have already experienced many life-changing events: a new home, new "parents", new "siblings", and new friends are just a few of the many people they have to adjust to. Add a new school with new teachers, principals, bus drivers and classmates and the children become overwhelmed.
The Onsite School provides a learning atmosphere with one teacher, a teacher's assistant and the other elementary school children living at Navajo Ministries. This gives all of the children a sense of familiarity and stability, helping them to adjust to the many changes that come with being placed in the Ministry homes.
Your monthly gift of $25 provides support for the school. Your monthly receipt letter contains updates on school activities so that you will be better able to pray for their needs. For confidentiality, the names of children are not released.
The Ministry school participates in the Campbell's Labels For Education and Boxtops for Education programs which provides educational items and dollars for the school.
